Now Carrying Perdomo 10th Anniversay Champagne and 20th Anniversary Sungrown

Cohiba Luxury Selection - The Cohiba Luxury Selection is  meant to be the most ultra-premium offering to date by the Cohiba brand.  It features a special Cameroon wrapper and features a rare tobacco varietal known as Merrapfel African gold. The tobacco is aged five years. In addition, each leaf in the Cohiba Luxury Selection is rum fermented for a minimum of six months and is also packaged in an individual acrylic tube.  The price point will be $40.00.

Cohiba Macassar has what the makers call a Connecticut Havano wrapper with a Connecticut broadleaf binder and a combination of Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. Each tobacco component in the blend has been aged for at least four years, with the notable exception of the broadleaf binder, which was aged for six years. General claims that all the tobaccos in the blend spent a final year of aging in Dominican rum barrels to enhance the flavor characteristics of the tobacco leaves.

Joya de Nicaragua Antonio Dark Corojo was created with 3-year aged Nicaraguan long-filler tobaccos and a special Corojo leaf wrapper that's dark, oily and loaded with flavor. Naturally robust but impressively smooth, Joya Dark Corojo exudes a rich series of earth, cedar, pepper, cocoa and a slightly sweet finish. Complete, refined and worthy of the Joya de Nicaragua name.

The Joya family is proud to present Joya Black, a follow up to the very well-received Joya Red launched in 2014. This is Joya de Nicaragua’s first cigar to feature a Mexican San Andres Negro wrapper. With that they wanted to create a blend with rich Nicaraguan tobacco, yet without the overpowering strength. The result is a balanced, rich and pleasant smoking experience

Gurkha Classic Havana Blend with a milk chocolaty Mexican San Andres wrapper which is medium-bodied and brimming with flavor, this box- pressed beauty permeates with notes of spice, earth, and nuts. If you yearn for that cherished Cuban taste or are looking to experience something darn close for the first time, Gurkha Classic Havana Blend is the choice cut for you.

2016 Oktoberfest from Quesada - the company is introducing two new sizes and a limited run of 100 humidors in the style of a Bavarian brahuhaus to be raffled off at our Oktoberfest event October 20th.  Both the Dominican and Nicaraguan versions are getting a new size. The Triple Bock is a 6 x 56 version of the Double Bock blend and the Kugel is a 5 x 38/58/44 perfecto.  Additionally, the company has decided to give a box press to the Das Boot 6 x 52 belicoso. It will be the second pressed cigar in the line along with the 6 x 49 Kaiser Ludwig.

Ray Lewis Legends 52 by Rocky Patel is a one-size brand named after the former linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens. The cigar is medium in body, is made with Nicaraguan and Honduran fillers, two binders (one of them Brazilian, the other from Mexico) and an Ecuador Habano wrapper. It comes in a toro measuring 6 1/2 inches by 52. It is packed in boxes of 10.

Island Jim #2  Like the Leaf by Oscar, the Island Jim #2 is made in the Oscar Valladares factory. The Blend is unknown and that is done on purpose as Jim wanted you to enjoy this without thinking about what’s in it.  The wrapper is a dark roasted coffee bean brown with a touch of light tobacco on the head and the foot. The wrapper is silky smooth with tight seams and no heavy veins. It’s a 6.5 x 52 "pencil" torpedo. If you cut just the oscuro "pencil point" off  you’ll get some bittersweet notes from the Connecticut strip. If you cut off the "pencil point" down to the dark wrapper you're going to get a rich cocoa and coffee profile with a little bit of pepper thrown in for good complexity and a very pleasant finish.

Joya Red - The Drew Estate Joya Red was created with milder tobacco leaf to impart the same signature Joya flavors, but in a much smoother fashion. It has a combination of binder and filler tobaccos from the rich and fertile regions of Estelí, Jalapa, and Condega rolled into an oily golden-brown Nicaraguan Habano wrapper. The result is a balanced medium-bodied smoke with delightful profile flavors of spice, almonds, and leather.

Other Quick Notes

  • We picked up the Assylum Ogre which is a 7 X70 barber pole that uses candela as one its wrappers.
  • La Gloria Cubana Series R Estelli added a Maduro in the same three sizes.
  • Nica Rustica from Drew estate added 2 new sizes, a 4 ˝ X 50 short robusto and a 7 ˝ X 54 belly.
